Classic modern transistor amplifier - AMC XIA100ep

The AMC XIA100ep is the little brother of the flagship XIA150ep. Construction, structure, equipment and design are almost identical. The power output is slightly lower.

The AMC XIA100ep integrated amplifier still has plenty of this with 100/180 watts of continuous power at 8/4 ohms.

The basis is a toroidal transformer with an impressive 400 VA output, the corresponding power supply, 32,800 microfarad filter capacity from 4 electrolytic capacitors and two channel-separated power amplifier modules.

If required, the HCO power supply in conjunction with the power amplifier can deliver up to 30 amps of peak current to the speakers.

In terms of sound, it is a force and is very close on the heels of its bigger brother, the XIA150ep. Thanks to the “Soft Clipping” technology, it also reveals the typical AMC sound with a certain tendency towards tube sound.

In terms of equipment, it is on a par with the flagship. In addition to the solid, gold-plated speaker connections, the AMC and a headphone.

There are also switchable tone controls and a balance control on board for “high-end”. The remote control, including motorized source selection switching, completes the offer.
