Dan Clark Audio Aeon 2 Closed Back Headphones

AEON 2 closed-back

The original ÆON Flow broke new ground with its ergonomic and stylish industrial design, a hallmark of Dan Clark Audio Designs. The world's lightest planar magnetic headphone, whose sound impressed both the press and our customers, has been significantly improved in its second version.

The drive system has been significantly improved based on the insights gained during the development of the Ether 2. The new ear cushions now isolate more effectively thanks to thicker sidewalls and are also backward compatible with the first-generation cushions.

As the ÆON was a popular headphone for home and on the go, there was also a frequent desire for more compactness. Dan Clark Audio has responded to this request and developed an ingenious gimbal-type folding headband that allows the ÆON to disappear into an extremely compact case for transport. What has remained, of course, is the extremely low weight of 321 grams, which is particularly beneficial during longer listening sessions and when traveling.
