Atoll PR 400 Evolution Preamplifier
The new reference preamplifier from ATOLL!
Not only does this preamplifier feature the finest components on the outside, such as the 10mm front panel and illuminated knobs, but its interior is also brimming with performance. The dual-mono design guarantees optimal channel separation, discrete, symmetrically designed input and output stages deliver ATOLL's signature sound, and two toroidal transformers power the output stages, whose gain (like all other PR400 functions) can be conveniently adjusted using the included IR remote control.
The playback devices—you can connect two via balanced XLR connections—and the volume are selected using a rotary knob. The display provides all important status information. A bypass input also ensures seamless integration into multi-channel systems.
The PR400 Evo also offers a wide range of outputs: 2x PreOut on XLR and 2x PreOut on RCA will likely cover virtually every application!
If you want to expand the completely analog base version of the PR400 with USB, SPDIF optical, coaxial (two each), and Bluetooth, you can easily upgrade it with the DA200 digital input board.
And the power consumption? The Evo version consumes less than 0.5W in standby mode.
