The Wharfedale SUPER LINTON marks a significant milestone in the development of Wharfedale's legendary heritage range. This latest version of the iconic LINTON speaker uses cutting-edge technology and delivers outstanding sound quality that delights music lovers worldwide.

A masterpiece of innovation

The SUPER LINTON speakers are the result of intensive development work carried out by Peter Comeau, Director of Acoustic Design, and his team. The team rethought and refined every aspect of the speaker: from the housing to the drivers to the crossover. The result is a loudspeaker that impresses with its musicality and attention to detail and raises the high standards of the Heritage series to a new level.

Improved construction and superior sound quality

The new SUPER LINTON goes even further than the popular LINTON in terms of performance and workmanship. It features an enlarged sandwich design cabinet made from two layers of MDF and includes an acoustic dampening layer to minimize resonance. This design not only gives the speaker stability, but also exceptional low-frequency reproduction, which extends down to 32 Hz.

A newly developed bass driver with a more powerful motor ensures dramatic and powerful bass, while the tweeter with a fabric dome and ceramic magnet ensures crystal-clear highs. The optimized horn profile and the newly designed front panel ensure an even distribution of high frequencies and an impressive level of detail.


For natural voice reproduction

The midrange speaker housing was also redesigned to avoid annoying back waves. The multi-layered attenuation with long fibers brings out vocals and instruments clearly and presently, making the SUPER LINTON ideal for reproducing natural voices.

Design and customization

Visually, the SUPER LINTON remains true to its “LINTON DNA” look and only has a moderate adjustment in the housing size. It is 50 mm higher than the current LINTON model, but can still be placed on the same LINTON stand - including storage space for records, which will delight many music lovers.
