XP1000se transistor preamplifier from AMC

AMC's premium amplifier range has expanded. The new hi-fi, stereo and high-end preamplifier is now the XP1000se.

Visually, it fits seamlessly into the AMC program. In terms of equipment, it shines with a sound control system and a balance control. The balance control in particular is sometimes a real advantage, especially when a central listening position - between the speakers - is not possible. The “stereo center” can then be moved using the balance control. Of course, a headphone jack shouldn't be missing either.

On the connection side, the XP1000se shines with an excellent MM/MC phono stage with 3 high-quality OP amps. The MM/MC switchover takes place on the back. Three line inputs are also available. A digital source can be connected via an optical digital input. The music signals are converted by a 24 bit / 192 KHz Hi-Res converter.

Gold-plated, solid input/output sockets ensure long-lasting and loss-free contacts. With the XP1000se, the special circuit topology also guarantees top sound with a pinch of tube sound, without the use of tubes. A remote control for the source selection and volume functions is of course included in the scope of delivery.

The XP1000se preamplifier is ideal for forming a classic duo with the AMC power amplifier 2100MK2. This pre/end combo impresses with its great sound and powerful power, but remains absolutely reasonable in terms of price. Typically AMC.
