Description

The Align it DS3 is one of the simplest and at the same time most effective alignment templates on the market. You can use it to effortlessly adjust and align your pickups. It comes with detailed instructions and background information so you're well prepared to extract maximum sound from your records.

Unlike many other templates, the Align it DS3 maps the entire tonearm curve from outer to inner zero. This makes the process much more convenient for both beginners and professionals. You don't have to constantly rotate your turntable's platter when you switch from outer to inner zero when adjusting your cartridge. The Align it DS3 stays fixed and unmoving during platter adjustments, so you don't have to worry about finding the right position over and over again.

Choose one of the 3 most popular geometries printed on the Align it DS3. Each has different advantages:

Bear forest

Excellent all-rounder, ideal starting geometry. Optimizes inner and outer groove tracking with a focus on the central area of ​​your record. Works universally well for many music tastes.

Lofgren B

Optimizes mid-plate scanning, resulting in the lowest average interzero distortion among geometries. The innermost and outermost grooves have more tracking errors than the center of your record. Therefore, Löfgren B is ideal for modern records, where the most important pieces of music and songs are in the middle of the record.

Stevenson

Maximizes sampling at the beginning and end of the record by shifting the outer zero more outward and the inner zero more inward. Excellent for classical music ending in a grand, culminating finale, very long records of 25 minutes or more per side, and 45 RPM singles.

Align it DS3 is suitable for all Pro-Ject turntables and many turntables and tonearms from other manufacturers, depending on their distance between the pivot point and the spindle.
