Replacement needles & upgrades

Even the best diamond needle wears out after a while. This also applies to the needles on our VM cartridges, but they can be replaced quickly and easily without having to replace the cartridge itself. Our new VM pickups offer 7 needles and 3 housing types to choose from. This means you don't have to buy a completely new cartridge every time and you also have the option of purchasing a higher quality replacement stylus (upgrade) or trying out a completely new combination of housing and stylus.

Line contact needles

Line contact needles offer better scanning ability than elliptical needles and are characterized by a deeper scanning (contact surface) of the record groove. This means that the entire tonal spectrum of the vinyl record is transmitted and at the same time the wear on the needle and record groove is reduced.
