Description

The use of EL34 in the output stage makes the tube amplifier Cayin CS-100A cheaper without significantly reducing the power output compared to the KT88 variant. This gives you one of the most powerful amps of its kind for a particularly affordable price. Apart from the eight EL34 tubes in the initial stage, everything remains the same. The work is done by 6SN7, 12AU7EH and 12BH7EH. High-quality Alps potentiometers, film resistors, ceramic bases and special audio capacitors plus a heavy toroidal transformer and system remote control complete the equipment. The Cayin CS-100A / EL34 supplies 75 watts per channel in class AB ultra-linear mode and 40 watts per channel in triode mode at its terminals (4 and 8 ohm taps are available). And if you ever want to upgrade the amplifier to KT88, the external bias adjustment will help you.
