The TH616's open black walnut cabinet is a real eye-catcher - Japanese aesthetics combined with exceptional sonic qualities. With the powerful 50mm "Bio-Dyna" driver (1 Tesla), it performs at the same high level as the closed version TH-610 and thus also joins the ranks of high-end headphones from Fostex.

The low-repulsion leatherette ear pads are durable and extremely comfortable to wear. The Hi-FC copper cable is removable and can optionally be replaced with a symmetrical cable of comparable purity. The cable, together with the gold-plated plug, contributes to the open stereo image, the detailed resolution and the transparent sound.
