The new closed-back LCD-S20 headphones are Audeze's first planar headphones featuring patent-pending SLAM technology for powerful bass reproduction and enhanced spatial imaging, as well as a new magnetic earpad attachment system.

SLAM, short for "Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator," is a new patent-pending technology introduced in our flagship CRBN2 headphones in late 2024.

Because they are closed-back headphones, they are ideal for recording in the studio.
