Externally, the ALTAIR G1.1 stands out for its new, solid base, which has already proven itself sonically and aesthetically in the G2.1 series. The satin silver base plate harmonizes with the color of the controls and creates an even more exclusive appearance of the device.

Compared to the G1 model, the Altair G1.1 features an improved femto clock and a more powerful headphone amplifier for increased compatibility with "hungrier" headphones.

The music services Amazon Music, Qobuz, HighResAudio and TIDAL are also natively integrated. The technologies TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth and the functionality to act as Roon Endpoint, as an alternative to AURALiC's own control software Lightning DS, are supported. A new addition is Apple's Airplay 2.

The ALTAIR G1.1 combines AURALiC's proprietary technologies and features into a high-performance DAC and streamer built to exacting standards in a solid aluminum enclosure. As an entry point into the AURALiC ecosystem, the ALTAIR G1.1 offers a comprehensive set of features and functions. Music can be obtained from virtually any source - locally stored files on the network, Internet radio, Airplay™, Bluetooth, USB drive, an optional integrated hard drive, or a playlist of favorites from a subscription-based streaming service such as Amazon Music, Qobuz, or TIDAL. Control is via either the proprietary Lightning DS app or manual, intuitive controls on the front panel, with all functions clearly displayed on the high-resolution 4-inch color display.

As a DAC, preamplifier, server and wireless streamer, the ALTAIR G1 offers high performance in a variety of system configurations. Digital coax, Toslink and AES/EBU inputs, as well as unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs, allow for a variety of connection options to the unit. Also included is a front-panel headphone output.

Dual 72fs Femto Clock

With a special low-noise power supply to minimize phase noise and ensure playback that's as quiet as it is precise, the 72-femtosecond master clock is incredibly accurate for jitter-free, pristine sound. With its 72 femtosecond cycles - that's 72 quadrillionths of a second - it sets a new standard for signal timing. This clock is temperature regulated to ensure consistent performance, and is always there to keep things stable.

1GB Memory Cache

Open network connections and the process of data retrieval create noise that can affect the quality of your audio signal.
The Tesla G2 hardware platform allocates a whopping 1GB of RAM for caching, lowering the frequency of open circuits and helping your music sound better.

Flexible Filter Mode

Flexible Filter Mode gives you balanced control over your audio output. The different modes were developed using a combination of objective data models and subjective testing, with each mode offering a unique arrangement of filters to match the sound quality of the source. Whether it's modes for adjusting in-band ripple, out-band attenuation, ultrasonic filtering, and more, you always have the ability to set the performance you want.


Active USB

The second generation of ActiveUSB technology offers more than just asynchronous control of USB data for improved accuracy and precise reclocking to reduce jitter. It also bypasses USB power and instead uses its own linear pure power supply. This means that dirty USB power - and the EMI noise that comes with it - is kept as far away from the music as possible.

Smart-IR Control

Smart-IR remote control allows your AURALiC device to map its functions to any remote control. Simply use one of their existing ones, and all of its functions ( play/pause, volume control, track selection, etc.) can be mapped to any number of buttons.

Purer-Power

The Purer-Power linear power supply reduces DC noise by up to 90dB with its "cleaning module". Using a specially designed transformer and unique cabling that minimizes vibration, Purer-Power keeps noise below 1 µV across the audible spectrum, so you can discover the details in your music down to the last bit.
