What Is a Subwoofer? 

A subwoofer is a speaker that only plays deeper tones – a supplement to your already existing speakers. A subwoofer adds that lovely gut punching bass to your favourite rap records and adds outright fear factor to movie explosions. These things are amazing add-ons for music and definitive necessities for movie lovers.

Our Subwoofers 

Our range of subwoofers are all made from the same bang-for-your-buck Argon promise. They look the same and feel the same, but they definitely don’t sound the same. The only difference between the four is how soon you wanna’ have your neighbour over for a chat.

Do You Need One?

Adding a subwoofer makes the most sense if you own a pair of compact speakers like our FORTE or ALTO series. By adding a sub, you free the smaller speakers from doing all the heavy bass-lifting, resulting in deeper, punchier, and clearer sound. You basically get the sound of a pair of floor standers from a pair of compacts. That said, bass can be addictive, and we’re definitely not judging if you decide to add some punch to a pair of floor standers. Unless you somehow end up as our downstairs neighbour.

BASS8/BASS10
