The 3000c family

The perfect introduction to the modern audiophile world or a cost-effective speaker upgrade, the 3000c family consists of the 3010c bookshelf speakers, the 3020c floorstanding speakers, the larger 3030c floorstanding speakers and the 3050c floorstanding speakers. The 3090c center speaker completes the line-up for a home theater setup. Whether it's a stereo or 5.1 arrangement, the 3000c series has the talent to bring your music or movies to life.

Real innovation

This new speaker series is equipped with a C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/woofer, which was first used in the award-winning 5000 series and the M40 micro tower speakers. Q Acoustics' latest technical platform sets the 3000c apart from its competitors, delivering a sound that features articulate and fast mids, controlled yet powerful bass dynamics, and nuanced and detailed highs, providing an exceptional soundstage that has never been seen before at this level.

Contemporary look

The 3000c series evolves the characteristic look and feel of the 3000i to accommodate the evolving taste in interior design. Echoing Q Acoustics' pared-back design ethos and the simple nature of the C3 profile, the 3000c series is visually more minimalist, with no flashy joints or screws. A new, elegant, one-piece speaker bezel in satin nickel and satin chrome (white only) enhances the front of the cabinet, while all new finishes complete the design of the series.

Surfaces that match any interior

The 3000c series is available in four new, modern and high-quality finishes that will look great in any living area. The introduction of a new light (Pin Oak) and a dark wood finish (Claro Rosewood) alongside the new but classic Satin White and Satin Black finishes, which were first seen in the 5000 series, underlines the modern design character of this new loudspeaker family.

C3 Continuous curved cone™

The C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ profile is a real step forward in the development of bass-midrange drivers. It is the result of extensive research and expert development to combine the advantages of a traditional straight cone with the control of the high and midrange frequencies through an extended cone.

The creation of a single, smooth, continuous curve profile results in a variety of advantages. Firstly, its excellent dispersion characteristics together with its well-controlled frequency response allow for smoother integration with the tweeter. The low-bass dynamics are also superior, and this, along with the tighter, muffled sound in the lower end, allows for more flexibility when placing the speakers near the wall boundaries of the listening room.
 
Mid/woofer design

The groundbreaking C3 diaphragm is at the heart of the 3000c woofer. The geometry of the diaphragm requires exceptional motor power for optimal performance, which is why large magnets are coupled to the voice coils. The control exerted by the large magnets ensures good dynamics, headroom and tight bass. Apart from these advantages, the large magnets also ensure that the pole plate and yoke are almost saturated, which reduces flux modulation and harmonic distortion.

High-frequency driver design

Based on the design principle of the latest Concept Series tweeter, the tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle (floating) to prevent internal pressure modulation within the cabinet and the adjacent mid/woofer. The inner chamber is also carefully ventilated to reduce distortion and has a lower transition point for seamless integration into the crossover area.

P2P™ (Point to Point) Bracing

Q Acoustics' P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing, used throughout the 3000c series, supports the parts of the cabinet that need to be stiffened, making the new cabinets exceptionally rigid, improving the focusing of the stereo image and making the soundstage more precise than ever before.

HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer)

The 3050c, like all floorstanding speakers, is susceptible to internal pressure build-up that causes unwanted standing waves and discoloration. To prevent this, specially designed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™) tubes are built into the interior of the housing, which cancel out the internal pressure and improve the frequency response.
