The Pro-Ject The Classic EVO is a reminiscence of the eternal role models and icons of turntable construction: classic shapes, reinterpreted. The careful selection of modern materials makes improvements possible wherever it makes sense.

The conical tonearm tube of the Pro-Ject 9cc is made of a carbon fiber/aluminum composite material and has high rigidity and low resonance. The extremely low-friction ball bearings in ABEC 7 quality do not provide any mechanical inhibition to the arm tube. This allows it to vibrate freely and the pickup's stylus can follow the record groove unhindered. The Pro-Ject Pick it 2M Silver MM cartridge is installed ex works, which harmonizes perfectly with the effective mass of the installed tonearm. The medium-heavy tonearm of the Pro-Ject The Classic EVO is also ideal for other MM or MC cartridges and for MC cartridges of the Ortofon SPU N type with headshell attachment according to the 1/2-inch standard. The sub-chassis, which is floating on elements made of TPE*, is covered with a layer of brushed aluminum. The convenient electronic speed selection will spoil you if you often switch between 33 and 45 rpm.

The turntable made of polished aluminum and selected satin-finished veneers in walnut and eucalyptus underline the classic appearance of the Pro-Ject The Classic EVO.
