The THORENS TAS 1500 is an MC pickup manufactured for THORENS in Japan. The aim of the development was the optimal combination of the pick-up in combination with the TD 1500 and TD 403 DD turntable and the TP 150 precision tonearm. With an output voltage of 0.6mV (5.5cm/sec) and 12 ohms internal resistance, the pick-up harmonises with all common phono pream-plifiers.
