The DAC-Z8 from Ever-Solo is a high-quality digital to analogue converter. It contains high-end components, especially an ESS ES9038Pro digital-to-analog converter chip and an XMOS XU316 USB interface, which supports high-resolution audio streams and delivers clear and detailed sound reproduction. The DAC-Z8 also offers a wide range of functions that make it a versatile device.

ES9038Pro DAC

The heart of the DAC-Z8, the digital to analog converter stage, is equipped with an excellent ESS ES9038Pro chip. This ensures the lowest possible distortion and noise and thus a truly convincing high-fidelity music experience.

XMOS XU316 USB interface

The DAC-Z8's USB input is combined with an XMOS XU316 interface, capable of processing audio data quickly and effectively for optimal signal transmission. This chip also supports high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512 Native, as well as MQA files.

MQA decoder

The Ever-Solo DAC-Z8 supports decoding of MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files via its USB, optical Toslink and coaxial inputs. This format makes it possible to enjoy a sound quality as close as possible to the original studio recording.

High-precision clocks

The DAC-Z8 is equipped with two high-precision clocks with frequencies of 45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz. These enable high quality decoding and ensure very low jitter for detailed and precise sound.

Optimized I/V circuit

The I/V circuit of the DAC-Z8 consists of 8 OPA1612 OPAs. The 8 OPAs correspond to the 8 output channels of the I/V conversion stage, ultimately creating a parallel two-channel output. In addition to the high-precision resistors, this circuit contributes to lossless amplification of the XLR, RCA and headphone outputs, improving channel separation, dynamic range and sonic integrity.

Amplifier circuit & balanced preamp output

The DAC-Z8's analog audio circuitry is fully balanced. The XLR, RCA and headphone outputs are all handled by a balanced differential amplifier circuit, providing low noise and improved channel separation. The high-fidelity preamp circuit provides precise volume control.

Bluetooth 5.0

In addition to full connectivity, the DAC-Z8 features a Bluetooth 5.0 Qualcomm QCC5125 receiver that allows music to be transmitted remotely, e.g. B. from a smartphone or a tablet, and supports the high-resolution transmission codecs aptX HD and LDAC for high-quality wireless transmission.

Digital filters

The EverSolo DAC-Z8 offers no less than 7 PCM filters and 4 DSD filters. These make it possible to adapt the sound reproduction of the device to your listening preferences and the respective audio system.

Low ripple power supply stage

A low-noise power supply stage and a capacitor filter were developed specifically for the DAC-Z8. They deliver a clean, interference-free electrical signal to all of the device's audio circuits, ensuring rich, accurate sound reproduction.

A powerful headphone amplifier

The DAC-Z8's headphone amplifier also does a very good job and is able to easily drive headphones with an impedance of 16 to 300Ω. It also features two-stage gain control to accommodate both demanding headphones and more sensitive earphones.

Tax app

The DAC-Z8 can be controlled via the free Ever-Solo Control app, available for Android and iOS. The latter allows access to most of the parameters available on the device.

Color screen

There is a high-quality 3" color LCD display on the front of the DAC-Z8.

Multifunction button

The DAC's multifunction knob can be used to adjust the volume, navigate menus, select a source or output, change a filter, change the display and much more, providing complete control of the device in a convenient manner.

Aluminum casing

The Ever-Solo DAC-Z8 is clad in a robust aluminum housing that has been precision manufactured using CNC technology. It offers a modern and simple design that can be easily integrated into any audio system.
