The first variant of the AMC 3030 was launched in 1995 and shaped audio history. The devices were developed by Peter Bath, Malcolm Blockley (former developers of NAD, Acoustic Research, Proton, etc.) and Amcli Lin, the founder and owner of AMC.

At a time when tube amplifiers were becoming increasingly popular, this hybrid integrated amplifier won one award after another.

​Today, almost 30 years later, we offer you this "hi-fi classic" in the 7th generation as the CVT3030MK2SE. To name just a few things, it features improved circuitry, even better components and an IR remote control! At a really atypical price, AMC offers an audiophile, very high quality and fully equipped integrated amplifier with tube power amplifier. In addition, the CVT3030MK2se is equipped with a separate, very high-quality MM/MC phono module.

AMC's legendary MOS-FET driver stage and tube power stage circuitry has been retained in the 3030MKIIse. The effort involved in designing the circuit and selecting the components used is truly enormous. In the latest version, further improvements to components and circuit details have been implemented. High-quality output transformers are used in state-of-the-art industrial production, which can also be adapted to the respective impedance of the loudspeaker used (4 and 8 ohms).​

Selected EL 34 tubes are used. Quality is also important here. AMC uses selected tubes that have proven to be the best in terms of sound. The new CVT3030MK2se thankfully uses tube sockets, which make tube replacement very easy.

Since the current 2024 CVT3030MK2se version does not differ so much visually, we list the main differences to the original AMC 3030 here: volume adjustment using a motorized potentiometer possible via remote control, source selection switching wear-free thanks to a motorized switch and possible via remote control, high-quality, separate MM/MC phono circuit board, optical digital input including 24 bit / 192 KHz Hi-Res converter, quiet fans under each pair of tubes for better air circulation and longer durability, tubes plugged into tube bases, higher quality components with optimized circuit details. A carefully thought-out concept for years of stress-free enjoyment of the natural world sound of your AMC amplifier.
