The Fostex TH808 are premium headphones based on Fostex's top-of-the-line TH909 model. It uses the same drivers with modified tuning in a high-quality solid wood housing made of black walnut with etched dual-layer aluminum applications.

Fostex driver from the TH900 series

The 50mm 'Biodyna' membranes developed by Fostex mix biocellulose fibers with various other materials to create a low specific gravity membrane. In combination with the powerful neodymium drive with a magnetic flux density of 1.5 Tesla, TH808 offers you outstanding dynamics and the excellent sound typical of Fostex. Low membrane weight and high magnetic flux density give the TH808 extremely detailed resolution and fine dynamics with an exceptionally dynamic sound in the lower frequency ranges.

Refined open case made of solid black walnut and aluminum

The housing shells made of solid black walnut wood are characterized by a distinctive design. The etched dual-layer metal grilles are not only an eye-catcher, but also a sound enrichment thanks to the low-resonance design and offer different color impressions depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle.

Standard low oxygen 4N OFC copper cable

The low-oxygen copper cable on the TH808 is removable and can optionally be replaced with a balanced cable. The cable, together with the rhodium-coated plugs, contributes to the open stereo image, the detailed resolution and the transparent sound.

Maximum comfort thanks to low-resilience urethane padding

The low-resilience urethane padding, which is adapted to the shape of the head and covered with soft synthetic leather, as well as the comfortable and flexible headband guarantee excellent wearing comfort.
