DMP-A6 (Master Edition)

The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition is a sonically optimized version of the "normal" DMP-A6. It uses far more precise clocks and lower noise and broader bandwidth operational amplifiers.
A deeply modified Android 11 is used as the operating system, although eversolo has managed to bypass the Android mixer, which means that high-resolution music files and streams can be processed natively. Two ESS ES9038Q2M DACs ensure clean and adequate conversion of the signal, which can find its way to the hi-fi system symmetrically or unbalanced.

Thanks to the sophisticated operating system, apps from streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music or Amazon can be used natively. The DMP-A6 Master Edition is one of the few devices that can experience Apple Music in full Hires quality.

If you want to use your own music collection, you can access it either via UPnP, SMB, WebDAV or NFS - all options are open. If you want to use it as a music server, you can easily install an M.2 SSD. It is also Roon Ready and is recognized as a Roon endpoint.

Two ES9038Q2M DAC chips

The DMP-A6's audio decoding is handled by two ESS ES9038 Q2M DAC chips, a high-performance model very popular among audiophiles. It supports high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32Bit 768kHz and DSD512, as well as decoding of MQA files.

LCD touch screen

The high-resolution 6-inch LCD touchscreen, which is perfectly integrated into the aluminum housing of the DMP-A6 Master Edition, enables practical and ergonomic operation. The user experience should be as intuitive as possible. So it is possible to access all the player's options and information through this beautiful interface.

High speed SSD support

The DMP-A6 Master Edition is equipped with an integrated memory of 4GB DDR + 32GB eMMC to use many applications. A slot compatible with a 4TB M.2 NVME 2280 SSD can be installed without removing the case, allowing music to be stored locally and accessed extremely quickly. Using an SSD instead of a hard drive also allows to reduce the temperature and vibration of the device.

Low noise switching power supply module

The DMP-A6 Master Edition has a low-noise power supply module, several capacitors reduce interference. In addition, the filter circuit is specially designed for AC input and reduces high-frequency noise from 100KHz to 5MHz, ensuring continuous performance, smoother background noise and clearer musical details.

Multi-channel DSD HDMI DOH chip

Equipped with DOH processing chips for HDMI, the DMP-A6 MAster Edition can convert a DSD master sound signal with high HDMI clock precision.

XMOS 316 & Dual Clock

The DMP-A6 Master Edition is equipped with a third generation XMOS 316 USB interface, which ensures perfect reception and decoding of the USB audio stream. It supports audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD up to DSD512 and MQA. The optical connections (coaxial and Toslink) support DSD 64 (DoP) and PCM 192 24Bit.
The DMP-A6 circuit also uses two high-precision ACCUSILICON FEMTOSECOND clock oscillators to effectively eliminate jitter and ensure accurate and transparent audio reproduction.

MQA decoders

The DMP-A6 Master Edition features an MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) decoder that makes it possible to play this type of file and enjoy sound quality as close as possible to the original studio recording. Additionally, MQA streams are smaller for easier streaming.

Bluetooth 5.0

The DMP-A6 Master Edition's Bluetooth 5.0 reception uses a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip. This supports the high-definition transmission codecs SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC and thus enables high-quality sound reproduction via Bluetooth.

Symmetrical preamplifier circuit

The DMP-A6 Master Edition is equipped with a balanced analog circuit from the DAC chip to the XLR and RCA stereo outputs. This limits noise and channel separation ensures better signal quality.

Compatible with most music streaming services

The DMP-A6 Master Edition is compatible with many music services such as Tidal, Qobuz, HighResAudio and Amazon Music. It is also compatible with third-party applications such as Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Napster and KKbox and supports the Roon Ready function.

Smart control app

The DMP-A6 Master Edition can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet using the free eversolo Controller Mobile App.
