Features such as the isolated power supply, specially developed large capacitors, direct function, power amp direct circuit, volume control and front panel made of aluminum and MM phono input ensure impressively clear sound, as intended by the artist.

Isolated power supply

Separate windings for power amplifiers, preamplifiers and regulators in the mains transformer prevent mutual interference.

Pioneer exclusive electrolytic capacitors

The main capacitor, on which the audio quality of the amplifier depends, was developed in collaboration with ELNA. The Pioneer logo on the capacitor coil indicates that it is is a pure audio capacitor.

Direct function

The A-40AE's Direct functions allow other circuits to be bypassed, except the volume control. This fine-tuned function improves the musicality for optimal performance Music listening experience.

“Anti standing wave” decoupling feet

The specially shaped "Anti Standing Wave" decoupling feet without parallel sides are used to avoid resonance. They ensure precise sound localization and pure sound and also contribute to the seamless connection between the channels and improve the behavior of fast sounds.
