Description

The new iDAP-6 maintains a connection to smartphones, tablets or PCs via Bluetooth 4.1. With its intuitively controllable graphical user interface, it enables convenient control of a remote wireless music source via its colored 3.95-inch AMOLED screen. Its multi-function button allows you to navigate through the numerous menus by turning and pressing.

Thanks to duplex Bluetooth, the Cayin iDAP-6 can also wirelessly control headphones. The 24 cm wide desktop device has numerous digital outputs: USB, Toslink, coaxial (Cinch and BNC) and symmetrical (AES / EBU). The iDAP-6 even supports the previously non-standardized I2S process via HDMI, which enables a perfectly timed exchange of audio data with future devices.

The developers did not only focus on convenient Bluetooth playback. The Cayin iDAP-6 also accepts native DSD 256 or PCM up to 32 bit / 384 kHz via its LAN input and supports a whole range of audio formats from FLAC to WAV and AIFF to SACD-ISO or AAC. Of course, a USB hard drive can also be connected to the streaming player. With WLAN, the iDAP-6 can also be wirelessly integrated into the network.

As for its intrinsic values, it has an extremely precise crystal oscillator with jitter values ​​below 0.1 ps. This is a key to extremely clean, natural sound. The complex power supply with a toroidal transformer developed and wound in the house and high-quality electrolytic capacitors from the Japanese specialist Nichicon contribute to the rest. The new addition iDAP-6 thus extends the immense possibilities of the Cayin i series by numerous desirable features.
